CZ P-10 Holstering Safety also known as a “Striker Control Device” or “the gadget” works for the C, F, SC, and S models. It is machined out of Stainless Steel in the USA and is treated with Black Nitride. This device works by blocking the rearward travel of the trigger and striker, preventing the gun from firing while the backplate is depressed. The installation is quite simple, and a video on this can be found below. Adding this part to your firearm will give you added peace of mind while holstering your weapon no matter where you carry!

Since Ive seen one on a Glock I knew I needed one. One day a video was recommended to me for my CZ instantly pre ordered no hesitation. I hope he makes one for the hellcat pro or the echelon. Bless up

I buy a lot of firearms and a lot of accessories and I was very impressed with the construction of this safety device. It was very easy to install, and I have put a lot of rounds through it since the installation with no issues. Great product!

I’m incredibly happy with this safety device for my CZ! As this is my first concealed carry gun, I was initially nervous about carrying it. This striker control device has significantly boosted my confidence. It’s easy to use, feels secure, and gives me peace of mind knowing that I’m carrying safely. Highly recommend it for anyone!

After caring my CZ P10F for a few months without the safety, holstering was safe, but sketchy, the holstering safety that is on it now is just that extra piece of mind, thank you.

The only reason I carried a Glock was because a striker control device is available for that platform. Having that extra piece of mind while carrying a striker fired pistol, without a manual safety, in the appendix position is very important to me. Finally, a safe holstering device is now available for the P10C. I only have about 500 rounds on the device, but it has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend grabbing one.

Definitely happy to have this safety feature for holstering. Showed a friend recently who was also super impressed and who has only used DA/SA because holding down the hammer when holstering helped set him at ease. It’s pretty sweet to have that peace of mind transfer over to a striker fired pistol (especially for the CZ p10). I’ve shot at the range with this device installed and also specifically tested if it can withstand heavy trigger pulls without going off while my thumb held it down – Not a single issue!! Testing it multiple times with equal to or greater than 15 pound pulls helped solidify my confidence in it.
In the installation video, the creator isn’t kidding when he says go light with setting the screw (even lighter than you think). I know that my device is for sure set, but I could tell that the slightest tweak just to make sure it was ended up easily stripping the screw. I don’t know if I’ll need to get to the striker or striker spring, etc., but I know that switching those parts out for whatever reason is now a no-go. Would love to see this package come with an extra screw so that if needed one could have the opportunity to take it off (most likely ruining the screw in the process), do what they need to, and then secure the safety device back on again.
All the best,
Grant C.

I bought two of them from the first batch, installed them on a P10S and P10C, installation was easy enough, and I’m extremely happy with them. The misgiving I have with striker fired pistols is safety when holstering. Unlike DA/SA or LEM hammer fired guns, such as Beretta, HK, etc., with a striker gun you can’t thumb the hammer to make certain the trigger isn’t activated by something that might have made its way into the trigger guard. E.g., a piece of shirt tail, a drawstring, a casing, anything. The Glock SCD made carrying a Glock worry free, and the Danforth holstering safety accomplishes the same thing for the CZ P10 line. I have four more of them on order for the April batch, including one for a friend whom I convinced a few years to buy a P10S for his first carry gun. Bravo to Danforth Designs. Would love to see a similar part for the FN 509 line, which also has a partially cocked striker and thus would be amenable. (Hint, hint.)
